At our Orange County Fan
Appreciation Show on9-14-07,
one fan got appreciated in a
surprising way.
At the same show, volunteer Carrie found it challenging to control the blue players...
...while volunteer Gianna found that everyone was willing to do whatever she wanted.
On 8-10-07 we were happy to see our loyal fans Gaby and Linda, sisters extraordinaire. See, you can get your picture taken just for being wonderful.
At the U-sical on 8-24-07, volunteer A.J.'s true-life tale of a rigged school election became a musical comedy. This was his second time being the subject of a
U-sical. He's got a really interesting life.
In the early show on 8-25-07, Gabe got to see part of his life onstage...

...David helped us out by escorting our player Rick outside...

...and Chris delighted the rest of the cast by making bunny ears behind Adam, the unsuspecting ref.
In the late show on the same night, Liora found herself onstage with a two-headed monster. She handled it well.

In the same show, Kevin received a generous award for helping us out
In the early show on 9-8-07, volunteer Vincent celebrated his birthday by showing his affection for volunteer Brittney.
And volunteer Dan got a prize.
In that night's late show, Rachel found herself helping the red team with a very serious scene...
...while Liora (not the same Liora from two weeks earlier) chose to use her powers to help the blue team.
Also, Tyler told us all about his family so that we could
pretend to be them...
...and Dennis (center) learned how to travel in time. All for the price of a ticket to our show!
Way back on 6-8-07, these three chipper folks helped us out during the 8:00 show. Their names have been shrouded in the mists of time, but their smiles will stay with us forever. |
The U-sical on 7-13-07 was based on the adventures of Logan, whose life was so amusing as to crack up our host Cory.
In the early show on 7-14-07, we got help from Tony, our second volunteer from Ireland within eight days! What's going on?
In the late show that same night, player Jennifer again left the building with a volunteer; this time the lucky fellow was Miguel.

In that same show, Karla helped us out; she isn't from Ireland, but she's great at making us do what she wants.
In the 8:00 show on 7-20-07, a sweet young thing named Sophia enchanted the red team, shown here unable to speak clearly.

The 8:00 show on 7-21-07 enjoyed help from Reiko, who in turn seems to have enjoyed the players.
In the early show on 7-6-07, audience volunteers Dave and Gabe enjoyed treating our players like action figures.
Later in that show we got help from Sarah, who volunteered for this exact same duty 3 weeks ago. We've grown fond of taking her picture.
In the same show, we had a visitor from Ireland. Here's Erin, about to be serenaded by the players.
And here are Erin, her pals, and the ComedySportz players (many shown here for the first time in their street clothes!).

If you were at the late show on 7-7-07 (Live Earth Day!), you heard lots of live music, just like people on the other 6 continents. Here's Shelli (normally not foggy, but the photo was taken using a cell phone) enjoying a musical version of her life...
..and here's Jessica, giggling while the players try in vain to woo her with improvised romantic dialogue. Since this was Jessica's bachelorette party, she was unwooable. You can have your party at our show as well! Any time! We're serious.
On 6-8-07, our U-sical players turned the story of volunteer Karen and her twin sister Jennifer into an improvised musical comedy. Come to U-sical and this could happen to you!.
At the early show on 6-1-07, we were delighted to host a group of students from Lawndale High. They provided us with some great volunteers, including Tianna...es next to Kate)
...Victor...
...and Christien (not sure about the spelling, but it's a pretty name).
